Skills and experience:
·At least one year prior experience successfully providing exceptional IT and user support.
·Experience within a trading environment would be an advantage.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will form part of a six-person, user-focused support team and participate in the day-to-day service and support function.
The IT Service Delivery team is part of the overall IT department, which also includes the Development team and the Head of IT.
The role reports into the IT Service Delivery Manager.
Your core responsibilities of the role will include:
·Supporting all functions of the business and to be accountable for standards and timeliness of support query resolution through personal endeavour
·Accurately recording and providing fast response support to queries, escalating where required but retaining ownership of issues
·Performing troubleshooting and issue resolution activity in both end-user and back-end environments, including installing and updating hardware and software
·Scheduling of preventative maintenance, including workstations, telephones and printers.
Applying service packs, patches, hot fixes, security software
·Maintaining systems critical to user support and service delivery, such as the helpdesk system, the hardware inventory, and all necessary support procedures
·Liaising with external IT support partners to ensure maximum system availability, reliability, stability, and efficient user support
The successful candidate should have strong end user support experience in the majority of the following technologies:
·Windows desktop/laptop environments, Windows 7-10, computer imaging
·Microsoft Office 2010-2016 (due to upgrade to 2016 soon), Microsoft Dynamics CRM (due to be upgraded), Outlook
·Endpoint and email security, anti-virus, anti-spam technologies
·IP telephony (Avaya), IP video conferencing, AV systems
·Mobile smartphone telephony, mobile device management, iOS
·Windows Domain, Active Directory and Exchange account management
·Networked peripherals, printers and scanners (Cisco)
Any knowledge gaps can be addressed through a variety of training methods.
ABOUT THE REWARDS
This opportunity offers a starting salary of up to £27k, depending on experience, plus a number of great company benefits.
Market-rate salary plus discretionary cash bonus paid twice a year.
