We have a newly created position for a Buyer within a cracking business that has grown to become one of the regions sector leading specialists.

Your new Buyer role will involve:

· Identifying all stock items required on a day to day basis by various departments
· Identify occasional special purchases
· Engaging with present suppliers, forming great relations
· Undertaking price reviews
· Further develop stock control systems, purchase requests
· Monitoring of lead times for customers ensuring no delays due to stock requirements

This is a newly created Buyer position in the company and hence as the new Buyer a real opportunity to stamp your own mark on a role and really make a difference.

Buyer Key skills and Experience

· Previous experience in either a Buyer or Purchasing role is essential
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Systematic, logical organisational skills
· Attention to detail in both written and numeracy record keeping
· Strong numeracy skills

If you have experience in the design, print and digital sector then this would be a distinct advantage.

Buyer Package

£20,000 - £22,000 dep on experience
