Construction Administrator ~ Superb Company!

Our client is a multi-faceted collection of like-minded businesses whose primary aim is to remove the speculation associated with development.

Forty-two years of construction excellence has provided the platform for the Group to cement itself as a key player in the developer:operator arena.

They are currently looking to recruit a Construction Administrator to join their Team.

The successful Candidate should be PC literate and conversant with packages such as Microsoft Word & Excel.

The ability to communicate effectively coupled with an excellent telephone manner is also desirable.

Previous administration experience within a similar environment is essential.

This is a busy and varied role, our client is looking for an individual who has experience of working within the Construction sector, likes to be busy, is a team player, doesn't mind going the extra mile, has strong project administration skills, can communicate at all levels and is comfortable working in a male dominated environment.

Essential criteria:

  • You must have experience working within the Construction Industry for at least 2 years.
  • You must have an excellent interpersonal manner and good office skills.
  • Adaptable to a variety of works and demands.
  • Have a logical and organised method to the 100% completion of all works.
  • Able to prioritise and multi-task to a high level, whilst achieving strict deadlines.
  • IT literate in all Microsoft packages especially Word and Excel - in order to produce detailed.

Main duties:

  • Co-ordination Support to the Operations Director.
  • Supporting Resource allocation meetings, taking detailed information and communicating to project teams, updating trackers in Excel format including allocation of holidays, training and labour.
  • Taking part in Project meetings, collating related data & producing reports, monthly and weekly in preparation and post meeting including escalation of actions arisen.
  • Provide support to the Business Operations and Compliance Manager through Management of filing systems, performing with excellent standards of due diligence when auditing operational core company processes to ensure that we remain compliant.
  • Collection of data to assist the production of Key Performance Indictors across the Group.
  • Liaise with Contracts Managers & Site Management teams to ensure standards of works are maintained and communication of progress and issues are escalated and tracked.
  • General Administration to Operations Director: Typing letters and other forms of correspondence.

    Organising meeting rooms, Meeting & Greeting, Diary Management, taking minutes of meetings.
