Service Desk Analyst level 2

Service Desk Analyst, IT Support, Windows 7/8, Service Desk, Help Desk, Call Logging, MS Office, Service Desk Analyst

Service Desk Analyst required for an award winning IT services provider, based in Western Southampton.

Position available is at experienced (2nd Line) level working on a permanent shift basis (4on- 4 off).

This positions will involve logging of Incidents and Service Requests reported by customers, resolution where possible and escalating to senior support where required, within defined SLA's, whilst providing superb customer service at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience-

, Previous experience within a Helpdesk/Service Desk environment at 2nd line.

, Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word.)

, Good working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems 7/8.

, Understanding of Network Infrastructure and Windows Server/Active Directory.

, Current CompTIA A+ or MCP certification is desirable but not essential.

, Superb communication and customer service skills.

, Keen to develop skills and advance career within IT.

Due to the office location, a driving license is preferred as public transport cant be relied on during shift work.
