Area Sales Manager - Lighting & Electrical - Up to £33k

The Role:

  • The Area Sales Manager role will cover the South West and South Wales region and will involve selling a selection of lighting products into electrical wholesalers, independent and nationals

  • As a sales representative to the client base you will assist them with your expert knowledge and opinion on the lighting product range and selection to best suit the reseller's environment

  • With a great lighting range, you will never be short of options to expertly advise the customer, assisting them in selecting the suitable product range to be placed within stores

  • You will be responsible for a key database of clients that are already purchasing, it is essential that you manage these clients and grow the overall spending of them through effective account management

  • This role will be about 50% New Business Development were you will be seeking new clients however possible, with 50% based on the existing custom base

The Ideal Person:

  • It is essential that anyone applying for this role has a strong level of closing skills and is not afraid to ask for business

  • You must have sold into a wholesale environment previously, ideally you will come from a lighting or electrical product sales background

  • You will need to have a natural ability to build relationships with clients and assist in growing the overall spending in the region, this is through your expert advice and professional manner

  • The person applying for this role will need to be a bright and intelligent character that can work well as an individual but also works well in a team environment

  • Anyone applying for this role needs to be a quick learner and have the ability to take on information regarding the product range and Company information

  • You will need to be prepared to travel throughout the South West and South Wales when meeting with clients
