The business requires an experienced ECC Project Manager to join the Anglian team.

The ECC Project Manager will support the team's on-going design & build projects within the utilities sector.

The role will offer the opportunity to progress your career as your experience grows.

This business manbages some of the UK's most complex and stimulating projects that are diverse and technically demanding, namely with the Water, Power, Rail, Aviation, Highways, Environmental, Nuclear, Pharmaceutical and Energy sectors.

Overview of Role:

You will be responsible for advising clients on contractual matters through the definition phase of a projects and the contract administration of projects during the implementation phase.

Therefore it is a requirement that the role holder will be familiar with Pre and Post Contract delivery on projects, preferably with experience of design and construction management and is fully conversant with the NEC suite of Contracts.

The role:
Managing the commercial and contractual activities
Management of estimating and cost planning using construction and engineering industry market economics and understanding their impact on cost and price.
Supervision of up to three assistant commercial managers and/or assistant cost managers.

What we require from you:
Procurement of construction contracts under a Principal Contractor, Designer or Consultant delivery approach.
Knowledge of NEC forms of contracts and the ability to manage contract administration, including contract communications, change control, variation/compensation event assessment, valuation/certification; contract remedies and contract close.
Detailed project management knowledge including programme and project management methods and practices to manage and resolve threats to delivery.
Proven experience of managing complex customer and supplier relationships and expectations in a projects environment.

Post degree experience
Hold, or be taking, professional stage of membership of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent professional qualifications
