This is an exciting opportunity for an intermediate level Legal Secretary who wishes to specialise in Litigation and progress their career.
To be the successful candidate you will have a proven ability in legal administration support and hands on working experience within a commercial law firm.
You will have accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proof reading coupled with advanced skills in outlook and word software.
In addition you will communicate to an exceptional standard be committed and pro-active with a focus on client service.
Experience in using Adarent or similar software will be highly regarded.
Supporting four fee earners including a partner you will work within a busy competition litigation practice group.
Your days will be busy and varied with duties including:
- Preparing court documents and briefs
- Collation of documents and evidence
- Opening, closing and maintaining files
- Digital dictation
- Preparing emails and memos
- Monthly billing and invoice preparation
- Managing lawyers diaries and emails
- Answering calls and liaising with clients
- Archiving documents
