Group Risk Consultant - Benefit Consultancy

Our Client is a leading Risk and Healthcare consultancy who is rounded for providing advisory services to the Corporate market.

As a result of continued growth they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Group Risk consultant within their established team.

Overview of Role

Manage a well established portfolio of risk and healthcare clients, guaranteeing that magnificent customer service is given.

The role will be to invoice regular client contact and some back office administration, and giving backing to the Senior Risk Consultants/Advisory team.

Head of Department/Directors as required.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all parts of consultancy guidance and business development of healthcare portfolio of clients including more intricate schemes.

  • Independently creating and expanding the arrangement of health care clients and expanding its profitability.

  • Participate in project and tenders work as required.

  • Write / draft comprehensive reports, detailing market review findings, recommendations and specification of cover for client presentation and client reviews.

  • Assist Senior Consultants and Directors with more complex inquiries guaranteeing they are managed rapidly and adequately.

  • Conduct reviews according to renewal schedule for all assigned clients.

  • Handle and resolve the everyday inquiries both identifying with new and existing business, liaising between colleagues, providers and clients.

  • Introduce and help with setting up new courses of action.

  • Guarantee the suitable execution of policies including the assistance with clients with all significant relevant documents and regulations.

  • Distinguish and manage any progressions/rebuilding needs of clients' healthcare arrangements.

  • Help, monitor and oversee claims for the benefit of the customer, as required.

  • Assist Senior Consultants and Directors to oversee portfolio so overall client objectives are met in accordance with specified objectives and constraints.

  • Play a proactive role in development of Risk & Healthcare team.

  • About you - Experience required:

  • Diploma / Advanced Diploma (Dip CII)

  • Pension scheme knowledge

  • Wide Healthcare knowledge with at least 3/4 years experience with an Employee Benefits Consultancy or National IFA.

  • Excellent planning and organizing, time management skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Good team player

  • Excellent management skills
