General Manager

General Manager - Operations: A General Manager with hands-on Operational experience is required for a well established, expanding South Huddersfield engineering, manufacturing and distribution company servicing the Rail and Electrical Supply Industry.

The ideal applicant will have a track record of operational and general management, and leading successful multi-functional teams.

We are seeking a strong communicator with experience of working within an operations environment at a senior level.

This is a new position with a sector leading company established in 1998.

The General Manager will be working for the Managing Director, responsible for managing and developing the operations, customer service, supply chain, warehousing and manufacturing functions within the company.

Some manufacturing / technical knowledge along with operations experience and a proven ability to develop and improve processes and procedures is required.

The ideal candidate should thrive on driving change, and be a highly positive and motivated individual who can engage and lead people at all levels.

-An understanding of CNC manufacturing / Engineering (desired).
