Business Development Manager - E-Commerce - £70,000 OTE

The Role
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for a hard working Business Development Manager based in the UK (with preference in the South East).

This role is to target new business via face to face meetings, conference calls, events, and roundtables.

This role will be crucial in the sales process by building partnerships and understanding customer's needs.

The Company

The Candidate
The ideal Business Development Manager must have a proven track record in sales, pre-sales or consulting, with previous responsibility for professional services, technology and complex sales within an e-commerce background.

You must have a strong understanding of technical, cost, risk and business implications of service solutions.

You must be a native English speaker, but fluency in any other language would be desirable.

The Package
Although the salary package will be negotiable dependent on previous experience, the successful Business Development Manager will receive an initial base salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 with uncapped £70,000 OTE, plus company car and benefits.
