Our client a growing North West IT services company is looking for an experienced 2nd/3rd line remote + Field IT Support Engineer to cover a number of prestigious end client sites in the North West UK area with a 50/50 split between service desk + field work on a full time permanent basis to start ASAP.

The successful 2nd/3rd line remote + Field IT Support Engineer candidate must have sound communication skills, able to work to strict deadlines, good customer service skills, strong IT background particularly in small to medium enterprise field 2nd/3rd line support in a managed service environment ideally with current Microsoft accreditation.

Experienced Microsoft certified 2nd/3rd line IT Support Engineer is sought for our client a leading North West based IT Services Company.

The role will be split 50/50 between field and remote based IT support, working as part of a highly motivated team supporting clients using Windows Server 08/12, Office 365, MS SBS, Exchange, Active Directory and current desktop environments.

The applicant should ideally have a recent Microsoft Qualification (MCP/MCSA/MCSE), experience of working in both a field capacity dealing with multiple SME's for a managed service provider, along with being able to deal with problem escalation effectively.

The successful IT Support Engineer should have the following skills/experience:
,Broad range of recent experience of IT hardware and software typically found in small to medium (SME) sized business environments ideally from managed services background
,At least one current Microsoft Qualification (MCP/MCSE/MCSA/MCITP)
,Current Full UK Driving License
,Good knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN
,Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Office 2010
,Experience with gateways, firewalls, routers, switches and current security products
,Good knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 operating Systems including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
,Good knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012
,Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange configuration and administration
,Knowledge of MS SBS (Microsoft Small business server)including migrations preferable
,Knowledge of backup/restore tools
