Physiotherapist - Rapid response - Band 6 - Potters Bar

Physiotherapist - Rapid response - Band 6 - Potters Bar , South Hertfordshire - £23 to £26 per hour

We are currently looking for a Band 6 occupational therapist to join a rapid response team based in Potters Bar, South Hertfordshire.

The ideal physiotherapist will have experience of working within a rapid response team with completing up to 7 home visits a day to support housebound patients with deteriorating mobility.

Patients have a range of existing conditions but experience of supporting patients with cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, arthritis, UTI and elderly patients.

Experience of using System1 would be beneficial.

The role is 5 days a week but 4 days a week may be considered for the suitable candidate.

Access to a car and full driving licence is essential.

The successful physiotherapist will have experience of…

- Developing and reviewing treatment programmes, along with patients themselves, that encourage exercise and movement by the use of a range of techniques;
- Helping patients' rehabilitation following accidents, injury and strokes;
- Assisting in the supervision and education of student and junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy support workers;
- Writing patient case notes and reports and collect statistics;
- Educating patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions;
- Keeping up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients;
- Communicating with a wide range of patients, carers and health and social care team members;
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention;
- Managing clinical risk.

As a Physiotherapist, you MUST be:

- HCPC registered
- Eligible to work in the UK
