Our Grangemouth facility in Scotland offers development and cGMP manufacturing capabilities of highly potent antibody drug conjugates and other protein conjugates.

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Trainer to join our busy Human Resources Team.

The position requires experience in a training role, with CIPD qualification preferred, experience of HR operations / incentive support and at substantial experience in a Pharmaceutical / API environment is desired.

Highly developed interpersonal, people management and team building skills along with a sound knowledge and understanding of GMP regulations and current interpretation and expectations of them, as well as knowledge and use of interactive training methods, are essential for this role.

This role will be based out of Grangemouth, Falkirk, however duel site training will be required at our Morpeth, Northumberland site.

Roles & Responsibilities include:
, Work closely with the UK Training Manager to support and implement the UK L&D Learning Framework, site specific training requirements and HR incentives.
, Identify, design and deliver area-specific training interventions, in conjunction with function management and SME (Subject Matter Expert) expertise, ensuring appropriate training is provided, enabling employees to become competent and fulfil their objectives.
, Assess employee competence through routine assessment programs, documenting employee ability as appropriate (including in-house interventions and third party external provision where necessary).
, Writing clear, meaningful and appropriate training documentation to embed and support learner's development.
, To conduct and oversee preventative measurement training including but not limited to the following areas:
- Permit to work authorisations - issuing and accepting
- Manual handling - train the trainer and ergonomic assessors
- Fire safety awareness, fire wardens and fire team
- Mobile lifting equipment authorisation (eg FLT/pallet truck)
- Powered access equipment authorisation (eg IPAF/cherry pickers)
- Electricity at Work regulations competent persons
, Identify opportunities for improved methods of working to enhance efficiency, cost control and safety/GMP performance.
, Supports site apprentice training programs by being the first point of contact for any queries relating to their training requirements.
, Identify the cost of any required training interventions in order to establish adequate budgeted resources (in conjunction with UK Training Manager) and work to minimise costs, keeping within budget limits.
, Support and promote the UK HR Operational Function by advocating and supporting HR incentives and procedural updates.

The successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and be able to prioritise their time effectively.

This will be a challenging but highly rewarding role with the prospect of gaining valuable experience within a highly driven environment.

GMP experience, although not essential will be preferable.
