Business Analyst

My client, a local authority in Hampshire, is looking for a Business Analyst to work on an initial 3 month contract basis with extension possible.

The Business Analyst will create detailed business processes documentation across a range of activities undertaken by the transactional team, and will articulate process, activities and procedures combined with business ideas into standard business process documentation to comply with the Governance and Controls framework for Corporate Resources.

Added value requirements will be to:

, Identify any inter-dependencies between processes;
, Understand any constraints, system or business process and suggest potential improvements;
, Ensure adherence to Governance and Controls framework by identifying high risk processes;
, Capture any training requirements.

Role requirements

Candidates should have the following attributes:
, Minimum of 3 years BA experience preferably within medium to large complex organisations;
, Experience in business requirements gathering, and in translating business activities into processes;
, Proficient at using both Microsoft Visio and Word;
, Strong people and communication skills;
, Excellent interpersonal skills;
, Strong analytical skills;
, Knowledge or experience of SAP preferable;
, Experience of Public Sector preferable.
