Salary: £18,700 to £20,700

Contract: Full Time

Shift Patterns: 24 hour care including Sleep ins


This is a full time, permanent vacancy, whereby if you are successful you will be employed directly by the business.

I am recruiting a Childrens Therapeutic Care Assistant- Ludlow for one of Safehands Recruitments prestigious clients based in the Herefordshire area.

This is a three bed home in Ludlow is for young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.

A nurturing environment and the promise of a school placement for every child gives each individual the foundation they need to discover their potential and overcome the challenges they face.

As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker- Herefordshire you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our young people.

Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting them in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible.

Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital.

Person Specification-Childrens Therapeutic Care Assistant- Ludlow

  • Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour

  • NVQ Level 3 Children's and Young Peoples Workforce or willingness to work towards this

  • 12 Months experience within a similar Role

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Effective organisational capability

  • Full driving licence for a minimum of 3 years

  • Great team player

  • Flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those who we support

  • Strong “can do” attitude

  • Minimum 23 years of age
