Rail & construction Trainer & Assessor - Gloucestershire

McGinley Support Services operate as an employment business and are currently working on behalf of a national training company looking for a qualified and experienced Trainer/Assessor for a permanent contract in Gloucestershire.

We are currently seeking industry experienced, professional and dynamic individuals to join our successful team of instructors/assessors/testers on a full time basis.

The ideal candidate will have additional Rail training experience to add the other competencies below.

The ideal candidate will hold the following as minimum requirements:

Level 3 Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS) or equivalent.
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the work place or equivalent.
NEBOSH General Certificate.
Current First Aider Certificate.

It would be advantageous to have:
IEMA Environmental Management or equivalent.
In date Sector Scheme Instructor and/or Tester Skills Cards for any of the following: PTS, CPCS, LEEA, NPORS, LANTRA, ITSSAR, ALLMI, RTITB, WJA, EUSR etc.

As we operate in numerous industry sectors, in addition to the minimum requirements, least 2 years' experience to support qualifications will be required.
Experience related to the Rail, Nuclear, Aerospace or Construction sectors it would be particularly advantageous.

You will be required to:

Have the ability to communicate at all business levels.
Professionally impart the necessary skills and knowledge to our customer base throughout the UK and Europe.
Have a meticulous and diligent work ethic, with a proactive and consultative approach.
Have expertise with Risk Assessments, QHS&E Policies and Procedures, Safe Systems of Work and Method Statements.
Ensure the most up-to-date information and techniques will drive best practice through well-structured pedagogic methodology.
Maintain optimum levels of safety at every stage.
Complete and return all documentation in a timely manner
Consider and communicate positive solutions in challenging environments.
Conduct on site or in centre assessments of candidate's competence.
Maintain optimum levels of safety at every stage.
Have the ability to plan and organise work with individuals and team members.
Have IT systems Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
Possess strong presentation and organisational skills
