Temporary Customer Service Assistant
Our client is recognised as the one of the UK's leading mail order suppliers of sports and leisure equipment and sports team wear.
With over 20 years' experience, they have established contracts with over 60 Local Authorities to supply sports equipment to their schools, colleges and other establishments and have achieved ?preferred supplier? status with many leading fitness and leisure companies.

To be successful in this role you will help to drive first class customer service and you must have previous experience in an office customer service environment.
You will be confident to handle a high volume of calls and provide a rapid and accurate response.
You will ensure that enquiries are dealt with efficiently and that any customer complaints are handled empathetically, professionally and in line with the values of the Company.
You will enter, progress and manage orders, quotations, pro-forma invoices and enquiries, ensuring that customers are dealt with promptly according to agreed standards.
You will have excellent IT and administration skills to enable you to log information and keep detailed and accurate records.
You will have an outgoing personality and you will quickly establish and maintain exceptional working relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers and visitors.
In addition, you will enjoy effectively participating in meetings, conferences and team activities.
You have the ability to deliver high quality service as part of a team and as an individual, be a planner and implementer of agreed strategy and be an effective and confident communicator.
Experience and knowledge of the sports and leisure industry would be an advantage.
This is initially a temporary role for 6 months, Monday to Friday and during the summer months there may be an occasional need to work a Saturday morning in the Club Shop on a rota basis.
