Social Worker - Looked After Children - Solihull - £28ph

Our client in Solihull requires an enthusiastic social worker to join their Looked After Children's team.

The manager is looking for a practitioner with previous LAC experience, a strong knowledge of adoption and be confident with court proceedings.

You also must be flexible and able to work under pressure.

Due to the nature of the role only candidates with post qualifying experience within front line children's services will be considered.

As a Looked After Children Social Worker you will have experience of:

- Attending Court
- Court Reports
- Adoption
- Planned Meetings
- Attending Adoption Panels
- Case managements
- LAC reviews
- Conducting reviews
- Section 20 care orders
- Completing Pathway Plans
- Promoting Independent living skills for people aged between 16-21
- Managed grants
- Completing Personal Education Plans.

As a Looked After Children Social Worker you MUST:

- Be HCPC registered
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Have a full UK license
