Graduate Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity for a driven Graduate Marketing Executive to join a successful growing software company based in Lancaster.  This position would suit either a graduate or an individual with Marketing qualifications.

As content generation is a key part of the role, strong grammar and creative writing skills is essential.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Customer Experience, you will work between the Marketing and Sales teams.   The role is split between two distinct functions, inbound digital marketing and outbound lead generation, bound together through targeted campaigns. 

The current marketing strategy follows an inbound philosophy which uses a range of relevant content to nurture customers through workflows from initial engagement through to purchase.  Half of this role will be to support this process by increasing the ratio of contacts from website visits.  The second half of this role is based around Outbound marketing campaign activities with the goal to create an agreed number of sales qualified leads monthly for the sales team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Inbound Marketing        

  • Continuously improve accessplanit’s digital presence through a number of activities including SEO, pay per click, directory listings, social media and advertising 
  • Implement agreed marketing campaigns and communications
  • Complete, update and develop the content plan to ensure this meets the objectives of the Content Strategy and overall Digital Marketing Strategy
  • Create content including blogging, ebooks, whitepapers and case studies
  • Undertake research and surveys as appropriate
  • Work with the marketing team to continuously develop and improve the customer journey and increase the ratio - number of contacts per visits

Outbound Marketing

  • To take a systematic approach to outbound marketing working to agreed targets
  • To research new contacts and build target lists
  • To undertake prospecting  and sales calls to generate new leads 
  • To send emails and manage the replies and non-responses 
  • To generate a pre-agreed amount of sales leads
