Amadeus Ticketing Specialist

Are you native on Amadeus or a similar CRS system and have ticketing/re-issue/refund experience? Are you an organised individual and can work well under pressure? I am recruiting for an experienced Amadeus Ticketing / Air Support specialist to join a dynamic team in Surrey.

Working within a team of flight specialists, the Air support agent has responsibility for all of the administration functions that surround a flight booking, from schedule changes, special requests, on the day issues, refunds and ticketing.

The primary focus of the role is to deliver a premium service to guests and to ensure that they are retaining high value guests, through every call, email and guest interaction.


, Monitor the Auto Ticketing system as required.
, Operate daily flight procedures including ticket refunds, exchange of tickets and reissued tickets
, Quote, book and confirm internal staff and duty travel as required
, Oversee and manage the weekly flight manifest
, Delivering a personalised and premium level of customer service for every guest/agent contact
, Maintaining communication with all customers ensuring a high level of customer service is achieved
, To manage a duty telephone on a 24/7 and deal with any flight issues that may arise
, Accurate and timely construction of PNR's in GDS
, To keep the business up to date with any air related incidents
, Utilise all preferred Airline contracts when booking and amending flights
, To quality control and issue all air tickets
, Ensuring that all tickets are issued
, Keep updated of all IATA, BSP and any internal legal requirements

, Understanding of schedule air ticketing and BSP procedures (ideally using Amadeus)
, Accurate and construction of PNRs within GDS system.
, Familiarisation of airline contracts
, Knowledge of negotiated fares and CAT35 is an additional benefit
, Thorough knowledge of air and GDS practices
, Highly motivated and positive 'can do' attitude
, Team player together with ability to work independently.
, Desire to complete tasks within set-time frames.
, Key communication skills, in order to maximise the effectiveness of internal and external customer service.
, Fares and ticketing level 1 and 2.

Working for an international luxury tour operator paying a salary of between £19,000 - £20,500 PA plus excellent staff benefits.

Mon - Fri working hours.
