Branch Manager - Lighting & Electrical - Up to £45k Basic

The Role:

  • This role is for a Branch Manager in one of the Company Stores in the Camden area of North London, you will be managing a team of people and overseeing all aspects of the day to day running of the branch

  • You will conduct various duties within this role, reporting directly to the Regional Manager and Head Office through the Company reporting system

  • It is essential that the merchandising of the store is to the highest level, including stock control, so that the Company is displayed in the best manner and customer orders are completed without delay

  • The job will also require the person to conduct account reviews, ensuring key customers are dealt with correctly and with appropriate pricing

  • You will control the staffing levels, along with conducting the appropriate training for the staff that are part of your important team, ensuring they are trained in all requirements for the role

  • It is highly important that the store is managed to the highest standard in all aspects, everyone pitches in to help at all levels

The Ideal Person:

  • It is essential that you come from an Electrical, Construction or Engineering Wholesale / Trade Counter background within the Construction or Engineering Sector and have a high level of man management skills

  • Ideally you would come from an Electrical Wholesale background but this is not an essential requirement of the application process, as long as you can learn new product information to a high standard

  • You will need to be a process driven and corporate minded person with a focus for company procedures and an understanding of Profit and Loss requirements

  • Anyone applying for this role will need to be willing to go the extra mile to be successful, have a true passion for sales and wanting to progress a career within the Electrical Wholesale Industry

  • It is a key requirement of the role to have an understanding of the main Route To Market, dealing with small to medium size contractors within a wholesale or trade counter environment

  • You will need to be driven and passionate while being highly professional and outgoing whilst being part of a hard working dynamic team
