Intermediate Float Legal Secretary

In this role as a float secretary you will support a number of different authors and be exposed to various areas of law.

Providing firm-wide support, this role will see you responsible for:

  • Extensive dictaphone typing

  • Assisting the Word Processing team when required

  • A high volume of file management

  • Diary management

  • Relief Reception

  • Client liaison

  • Preparing and amending documents

  • Assisting with billing

  • General administrative duties


To be considered for this great opportunity you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years legal experience

  • Strong MS Suite skills and a fast and accurate typing speed

  • Dictaphone experience is essential

  • Word Processing experience (preferred but not essential)

  • Strong organisational skills and communication skills

  • A high attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team

  • Ability to adapt quickly to different working situations
