Business Development Manager - IT Software / Franking Machines

The Company:

  • Employs over 4000 people globally

  • Huge sales presence providing solutions to over 750,000 customers

  • Core business in selling mailroom solutions

  • UK sales Revenue over £100m

  • Opportunities to progress from Account Manager to Regional Sales manager

The Role:

  • As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for Business Development within an existing client base

  • Selling franking machine “fleets” and upselling software solutions that relate to mailroom and storage applications

  • Customer are SME's, Corporate Clients

  • Field based sales position covering the UK

  • Dealing with multi-site customer

  • Plenty of support from a dedicated internal sales team

  • Strong account management focus = upselling and cross selling as new software based products become available

  • Dealing with IT departments, Procurement as well as influencers across the organisation

The Ideal Person:

  • Strong Business to Business sales experience

  • Previous franking machine sales experience is essential

  • Will have worked in a field based account management or territory sales role previously but looking to take a step up into a national role with excellent earning potential

  • Stability

  • Experience of selling IT Software / Hardware

  • Track record of success in a previous role

  • Strong IT Software knowledge
