My client based in Greenford is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join the team.

Salary £26,000 - £28,000 DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitoring incident management queues to cover 1st line while providing 2nd line support for approximately 450 staff located across EMEA
Logging, resolving and escalating internally while working alongside 3rd tier support teams
Supporting and troubleshooting end user hardware and related queries that arise from laptops, desktop, printers and mobile devices.

Installation, fault finding and diagnosis of relevant desktop software packages to ensure maximum availability
IOS/MDM Handset enrolment and support
Troubleshooting remote connectivity issues
Corporate Windows O/S image preparation, configuration, deployment and documentation
Active Directory user object support and configuration
New starter induction to provide system training
Recognising patterns and trends to draw key conclusions to improve output


2+ years' of proven experience working in a service desk position supporting customers' needs via a service management suite in a multi-national enterprise environment with a working knowledge of ITIL best practice
2+ years supporting Microsoft operating systems, the core windows technology stack and associated mainstream applications
Solid understanding of office 2010 suite with strong outlook exposure
Grounded knowledge of Active Directory Services
Previous experience with the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of SEP and VPN products
1+ years supporting Mac for operational voice systems (moves/adds/changes)
Awareness of ERP
Apple OSX/IOS exposure is desirable
Strong working knowledge of networking topologies and protocols
Understanding of mail routing and messaging systems (MS Exchange)
AV-V/C experience
Can effectively liaise and communicate with all levels of staff
Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal and written with a particular attention to detail
Ability to work independently when required, achieve goals and meet deadlines
