Resources Director - Software, IT Services, Digital Services - Home Based/M4 Corridor

Package: £75-85k, Car Allowance and Excellent benefits

My client, a leading supplier of Software, Outsourcing and Digital Services require a Resources Director to own resources strategy and ensure the optimized utilization of technical employees supporting the delivery requirements of a growing business.

You will be responsible for managing recruitment partners to ensure delivery and maintain an awareness of market drivers and skill / knowledge requirements to ensure the resource pool is appropriate to customer and sales requirements.


Optimise resource utilization to deliver business objectives
Manage, motivate and develop employees reporting in their control.
Reach out to wider group to ensure optimum use of resources
Assist in evaluation of invitations to tender for projects as a means of deciding for which contracts the Company will tender.
Ensure operational efficiency and best practice and up-skilling line management in their responsibilities for managing people and employee retention
Coach and influence line managers on matters such as change management, performance management, employee relations, career management / Grade reviews, pay and bonus allocation; coaching and counselling individuals as required;
Organise Employee training and development
Work with directors deciding which resources are to be utilised to satisfy each requirement.
Liaise with appropriate Directors on matters designed to improve the quality of the resource pool to meet current and future sales demand.

Working with the MD and as part of the company's leadership team, providing a pragmatic and commercial perspective on people issues.

Key Skills:

Strong organizational skills to juggle resource to meet business needs
Technical awareness of technologies required by clients and sales
Experience owning resource management for 150+ employees
Employee motivation and development
Experience of large projects and staff augmentation
Commercial/P&L Knowledge
Central / Local Government market knowledge would be useful
