Software Development Director

A Software Development Director is required to join an exceptional software house based in Solihull.

TITLE: Software Development Director / Head of Software Development / Development Director/ Head of Technical / Technical Director EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Leading a Development Team, Technical Expert, Agile BENEFIT PACKAGE: up to £75,000, plus 20% bonus, pension, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with time served LOCATION: Solihull, commutable from Birmingham, Worcester, Redditch, Wolverhampton and Bromsgrove

A Software Development Director is required to head up a development team within a cutting edge software house based in Solihull.

The ideal Software Development Director will be an expert in their field, whether it be in C#, Java or SQL development.

The role requires the Software Development Director to take charge of a talented development team and guide them towards a more streamlined and more efficient development process and approach with the aim to produce a more effective, robust and scalable product.

The development team have a lot of talented and passionate individuals who have a lot of ideas on how to drive the product forward, so the company are looking for someone that can use their advanced technical knowledge, look at the bigger picture for the business and can utilise the best overall architecture of future development.

Key Skills

  • Technical Expert within software development, C#, Java, SQL etc.

  • Experience leading a technical team

  • Ability to map out the architecture of products with the companies vision in mind

  • Previous experience with individual team management, including performance reviews and motivation

  • Experienced in contributing to the overall development strategies and plans.

  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
