Operations Manager (Six Sigma)

Our client is a global organisation with a large IT division who are now looking to grow rapidly.

They have a combined pro forma annual sale of approximately 6 billion, employing around 35,000 people worldwide.

They are looking to grow their current team and they are in urgent need of a Operations Manager who has extensive Business Process Improvement skills.

The Operations Manager would be responsible for a number of projects ranging from small to very large strategic projects that could take a number of months or years for the full scope delivery.

These projects typically would impact a number of cross functional teams within Sales Operations, within the local country, and also across the Europe organization.

Besides projects, the Operations Manager is also responsible for continuous business process improvement initiatives also ranging from small/ rapid implementations to large/comprehensive end-2-end processes.

During and after transformation, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring hand-overs, and SLAs between sales operations and all other corporate functions are in place and operations within the new organizational model are running smoothly and can be “converted“ to BAU activities.

Your responsibilities:

, Scope, design, manage, and execute projects, process improvement, and initiatives within the Sales and Sales Operations portfolio, aligned to the strategic initiatives and in collaboration with the business transformation office
, Successfully implement within the constraints of time, risk, budget, and to the agreed quality.

And ensure effective and complete handover of completed projects into the operation and to monitor benefits realization management by the business
, Ensure project sponsors and all stakeholders are aware of risks and mitigating actions.

, Continually encourage project participants to seek ways to enhance business benefits and to exceed planned project outcomes
, Communicate to all stakeholders, the wider business, customers and suppliers (where appropriate) to ensure projects are delivered successfully and well understood.

And make sure projects are well known throughout the business and associates understand and buy in to the expected benefits
, Manage status reporting / highlight reporting on progress.
, Ensure end to end deployment of solutions, by acting as the link between Sales and the rest of the business departments (liaise with Merchandizing, Procurement, Marketing, Sales Operations Departments, BI, IT, etc.)
, Lead end-2-end processes re-engineering efforts within Sales and Sales Operations, which is most cases also involve several other functions in the organization
, Design, document, and maintain SLAs as well as transparency on service metrics results
, Keep up with internal and external developments and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information

Your profile:
, Higher vocational degree and 6 - 8 years of relevant experience or academic degree and 4-6 years relevant experience, with 1 - 3 years of experience in Project Management or Process Improvement, ideally in a B2B environment
, You must be Six Sigma certified
, B2B, knowledge of the office products industry, knowledge of Sales and Sales Support organizations and processes
, Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written.

Other language skills (Dutch, German, Spanish, and/or Italian) would be an advantage but not essential.
