Title: HR Advisor
Type: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Our client is in Global development organisation who are looking for a HR professional to cover a period of maternity leave.
The successful candidate will need to be resilient, possessing an impeccable attention to detail; with an ability to work with their own initiative whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment with serial deadlines and changing priorities
About the Role
As the HR Advisor, you will be providing timely and pragmatic consultancy to Managers on complex ER and HR matters.
The successful candidate will build and maintain effective relationships with clients, support the delivery of HR strategic priorities.
, Advising on techniques to maximise staff performance and attendance, including developing appraisals and objective setting.
, Identifying training needs, using L&D to improve efficiencies.
, Manage terms and conditions of employment and Contractual rights including leave, maternity and other benefits.
, Grievance and Disciplinary case management, exit policies and procedures and change management
, Implementation of new total reward package following group consultation and detailed benchmarking
, Identify the need, nature and pace of change needed for processes improvement.
Advise on structural changes to fit business model using a participative approach with key stakeholder buy-in
, Working with recruiting managers to identify resourcing needs.
, Drafting offer letters and package negotiation
, Ensuring new starters are provided with an induction plan for effective on-boarding and retention
, Ensuring up-to-date HRIS records are maintained Develop and maintain commercial awareness
, Educated to a degree level or equivalent.
Must be CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
, Experience carrying out organisational restructures.
Must have knowledge on consultation, statutory calculations and Business cases
, Substantial experience handling complex ER matters, from inception to Tribunals.
Must have experience creating ER bundles to managers in a logical and effective manner
, A sound working knowledge of UK employment legislation, with practical application in a working environment
, First class relationship management, consultancy and partnership skills.
, Numeric skills sufficient to interpret and present data in a meaningful, concise and relevant way.
, Commercial acumen and strategic thinking, challenges others positively in order to seek improvement
, Good IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft packages and using HRIS systems
, Team orientated, Results focused with excellent verbal and written communication; with administrative skills, taking into account the confidentiality on all HR matters
