The Role

The company is going through an exciting time as it delivers a new product platform for our clients and internal users to use, which will help them manage their businesses better.

Through innovative IT solutions, we will improve the client experience, increase service usage and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
, Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects
, Ensure entire solution is scalable and meets current and future business objectives
, Become the resident technical expert for the company's primary platform
, Conduct and lead Solution Architecture reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solution is scalable, is aligned with internal product roadmaps and meets customers' business requirements
, Guide technical team to deliver a flexible and scalable solution
, Work with on-site and offshore teams as required
, Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams
, Able to manage multiple activities across multiple projects simultaneously

Required skills

, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
, Experience in hands on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities within a Microsoft .NET technology stack as well as utilising latest web technologies - for example AngularJS
, Proven ability to deliver across the entire software development lifecycle
, Demonstrable command of relational database (SQL Server) technologies - SQL etc.
, Understanding of SaaS challenges and experience working with multi-tenancy platforms.
, Experience delivering complex technical concepts to user's in a way that not only allows them to understand what is being discussed, but also is able to understand the benefit of the technology for them.
, Experience implementing and reviewing security standards and best practice.

Desired skills

, Knowledge of Continuous Integration (including automating QA)
, Knowledge of Microsoft's Azure platform and the various services available
, Excellent JavaScript skills, both front end (e.g.

AngularJS, TypeScript) and back end (e.g.

NodeJS, Grunt, Gulp etc.)
, Experience developing web applications across multiple devices and operation systems for example responsive / adaptive or Phone Gap / Cordova
, Experience implementing governance and ensuring good industry standards are being adhered to.
