Accounts Administrator - Oxfordshire
My client is a specialist luxury travel agency founded approximately 18 years ago and specialises in providing their customers with the ultimate, tailor-made skiing holidays as well as luxury chalet, villa holidays.
My client is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their successful company.
This role will see the candidate deliver faultless accuracy on incoming and outgoing payments from customers booking as well as suppliers.
You will get to work alongside an experienced Finance Director in a successful and established company.
This company is situated in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside and my client requires someone to join them long-term.
, Day to day management of bank accounts including processing any incoming payments
, Ensure accounts are kept in credit, dealing with any queries on Bankline.
, Processing card payments and management of credit card facility.
, Processing booking statements in Quickbooks using the booking information from the Admin system
, Sending confirmation emails to clients
, Processing operator invoices, ensuring all invoices are correct to the original booking agreements, creating commission invoices where required.
, Process weekly payment run to suppliers/refund to clients/general bill payments/agent commission invoices.
, Credit control for all bookings
, Sending balance reminders and chasing when overdue
, Assisting Sales consultants and directors when required
, Dealing with any queries and exchange rates..
, Assisting internal accountant
, Security Deposit management
, Reconciliation of accounts on a weekly basis
, Reconciliation of credit card statements and processing of expenses.
, Assisting sales manager with monthly KPI reports
, General admin duties - filing etc.
, At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
, AAT or similar or qualification through experience.
, Ideally educated to degree level or similar.
, Working knowledge of Intuit Quick Books
, Ability to build strong working relationships and have a friendly, approachable and professional manner.
, Excellent communication skills with a willingness to go that extra mile.
, Good Microsoft Office skills
, Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
, Professional telephone manner
, Ability to perform under pressure

A base salary in the region of £20-23k and the opportunity to learn from an experience FD.
