Finance Assistant, Southend-on-Sea Essex.

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant based in Southend-on-
Sea.

The main purpose of the role is to provide support to the Finance Officer in the maintenance of the purchase ledger function and the
payment of suppliers and contractors.

It is essential that you have previous experience of working in a financial environment, preferably
but not necessarily on a computerised Purchase Ledger.

You must also have a good working knowledge of Excel and have the ability to
work confidently and reliably with numbers and financial information.

Your main day to day role will involve processing invoices on to the
invoice register, processing approved invoices on the Purchase Ledger, matching invoices to approved works orders, liaising with
suppliers, and dealing with purchase ledger and cheque request payments.
