Business Development Manager

Excipion are currently recurring for a Business Development Manager for a leading Application Developer, based in Manchester.


Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for creating opportunities for new business growth by building relationships and identifying new prospects.



Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement and execute a sales strategy that secures new contracts across key customer segments
Research organisations to find new customers and identify who makes the decision
Identify an organisation's needs and work with operational teams to plan proposals and pricing models
Sell products and services to new and existing clients
Negotiate with customers and build positive relationships
Attend events and conferences to gain information on market trends and competitors
Write reports and make presentations to customers and senior management
Accurately forecast sales pipeline utilizing current CRM tools (Salesforce.com, Sharpspring, Perforce, Google Docs).


Track & deliver against agreed monthly KPIs
Planning, development, execution & analysis of individual outbound lead generation campaigns through social media, email, cold calling, and events to target defined sectors, companies and job roles.

Incorporating new ideas for sales campaigns as needed
Work very closely with the Operations & Finance teams to jointly fuel the growth of the business

Specific requirements
Previous experience in a similar role within the Mobile Technology sector

Salary:
Basic salary of up to £35k, depending on experience with uncapped commission scheme based on revenue
