Test Systems Engineer


My client is a leading, well established and respected manufacturing business specialising in automation and production line test and inspection equipment.

Due to organic growth they are expanding and as such have an opportunity for an Experienced Engineer to join the well-established team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for engineering bespoke test equipment.

This will include creating electrical schematics, debugging the system and developing the associated control software.

My client specialise in assembly, test and calibration equipment for the automotive industry.

A major growth area is the testing of radios and displays within car entertainment systems.

Key Skills/Experience
-General broadcast RF concepts and test processes.

This will also embrace GPS,BT and SDARS technologies.

-Display signal generation and testing using bespoke proprietary modules along with knowledge of LVDS concepts and transmission processes
-Knowledge of Visual Basic programming is required in order to develop the equipment.

-You will be a confident communicator as you will be required to regularly attend design review meetings and discuss system requirements with customers and equipment suppliers.

Salary is negotiable, dependant on experience

Hours 37 per week with an early finish on Fridays.
