Helpdesk Engineer

Helpdesk Engineer - Birmingham - Salary: £18000 - £21000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Helpdesk Engineer to work for one of the UK’s market leading companies.

As a Helpdesk Engineer you will be part of a vibrant and cutting edge team providing effective and efficient IT solutions.

The successful Helpdesk Engineer will belong to a company which includes some of the most technically able individuals in the area and this, when combined with a strong company ethos results in one of the regions highest staff retention rates.


- Provide 1st and 2nd line support across the business
- Resolve queries in an efficient and timely manner
- Logging calls via ticketing
- Work to pre-agreed SLA's
- Assist the team on various IT projects

Skills required

- Windows Server (2008,2012) and Windows 7 operating system
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Customer focus
- A years experience in a 1st Line role
- Deal with Hardware and Software Issues.
- Understanding of Networks
