Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 plus share of tips (average of £40 - £50 per week extra)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for Line Chefs / Chef De Parties to join our award-winning family-run company at one of our pubs;

Our pubs offer the best quality hand-carved roast carvery dinner around and recently our Chefs have successfully developed and implemented our specials menus.

Our menu's now include a fantastic fresh hand-carved roast as well as offering call order items such as; premium burgers, colossal fish and artisan pizzas.

As a result we are seeing continued sales growth so we are looking to recruit chefs to join the busy brigades at the above pubs to enhance the teams.

All our kitchens have fantastic reputations for excellent quality wholesome, honest and fresh food.

They are modern, maintained and well equipped therefore giving our chefs the tools they need to continue to deliver the superb standards our guests expect.

A typical week as a Line Chef / Chef De Partie will include....
, Encouraging repeat custom by wowing our guests with exceptional and consistent high standards of fresh food served by friendly chefs
, Present the carvery and plated menu items with finesse, passion and pride
, Cooking attractive, relevant and tasty specials every service
, Serving on the Carvery maintaining excellent customer relations whilst presenting a beautiful ‘spread'
, Satisfaction of all E.H.O.

requirements relating to health and hygiene, due diligence, temperatures, allergens, stock rotation, storage and preparation of food.
, Correct recording of wastage and stock

What we're looking for;' ‘the vital ingredients' of being a Line Chef / Chef De Partie……
, Local - within 30mins commute (essential)
, Experience in a busy Bistro kitchen, Gastro Pub or Carvery would be advantageous however we will also consider candidates that can demonstrate hard work and length of service in non Chef roles

, Trained - suitable catering qualifications or experience
, Clean and well presented - this is a customer facing role
