An exciting and promising opportunity has arisen for a skilled Senior Account Manager with experience in the Local Authority and Government Sector to join us in continued growth and commercial success at our offices in Carnaby Street, London.

The role:

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall relationships with clients within the Local authority and Government sector.

The role includes coordinating all aspects of the day-to-day servicing of Client accounts.

You will develop an understanding of all aspects of the Prepaid client, products and services.

You will be expected to function as a Subject Matter expert working with local authorities and hence, we will only consider candidates with experience of working within Government.

If you currently work within direct payments, that would be a bonus.

Job Description:

Duties of the Senior Account Manager include:

, Being the first point of contact and escalation for local authority clients - acting as the key interface between the customer and all relevant internal teams
, Assisting the commercial team with RFP's and tendering where necessary for Local authority and Government service tender responses and bids.
, Representing the firm at Industry events and conferences including regular MasterCard and industry events targeted towards local authorities.
, Works directly with vendors that help support client infrastructure, platforms and processes - such as the card processors, fulfilment houses, and schemes.
, Responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing client relationships
, Responsible for assisting the commercial team with product demos and information sessions with clients and potential clients.
, Creates and manage regular reporting of client activities such as financial performance compared to goals; trends and profitability analysis; and other performance metrics.
, Work with internal teams such as Marketing, Product, and Sales to develop and deliver new ideas and product enhancements are properly communicated to the correct teams.
, Responsible for the development and enhancement of supplementary sales - upselling, cross-selling and new products.

About you:

To be successful as our Senior Account Manager:

, Previous experience working within a local authority environment is essential to the role
, Previous experience in Account Management is also essential
, Previous experience working within Direct Payment and Finance would be an advantage
, Financial services background in prepaid (advantage)
, Comfortable with technology
, Ability to take direction, accept, assimilate and then provide it further
, Strong account management and relationship building skills.
, Highly self-motivated.
