Senior Staff Nurse (RMN/RNLD) - Mental Health Unit - Caerphilly - Permanent - Full-time - £34944 (£16.00 Per Hour)

Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Staff Nurse (RMN/RNLD) working for our client based in the Caerphilly area on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and have Post qualification experience.

You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; you will be Educated to Degree level, be NMC registered as an RMN or a RNMH

You should have a sound working knowledge surrounding valuing lives and provide leadership, direction and supervision to all clinical and support staff, ensuring all social and health needs of the patients are met.

Previous management experience is essential and candidates should have first class knowledge of CQC outcomes and the Mental Health Act.

You will need to be flexible and adaptable and have the confidence to make decisions and manage the unit in the absence of the Hospital Manager.

A hands on approach is required ensuring the best possible care is provided to our patients.

You will be responsible for:

Effectively managing patient care ensuring input from all aspects of the staff group
Motivating staff and building teams
Promoting your hospital and maintaining and developing the reputation of the Hospital

Full induction training is given.

You will also learn from some of the most dedicated and
inspirational people in our profession and, just like our service users, you will be learning all
the time through our mentoring and support.

We are also looking for the following desirable skills, but are not essential for the position; Knowledge of PSI and will also have some experience in a forensic or secure environment.

The position is based within a private unit that provides care for Gender specific Adult service users who present Mental Health illnesses.

The hospital provides female mental health rehabilitation service and provides thoughtfully-designed, well-appointed surroundings to enable the women in our care to re-build their living and vocational skills, ready to regain their place in the community.

Every room has en-suite facilities.

In addition they have a gym, a hair salon and relaxation area where patients can receive nail care, beauty treatments and one-to-one sessions with staff.

This is a Full-time Permanent position working 42 hours per week working in Caerphilly Area

The salary for this position is £34944 (£16.00 per Hour) and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position.
