ECommerce Manager

Our client is expanding its business to online retail and a new role has been created for an eCommerce Manager to project manage the rollout across EMEA markets, developing the company's online eCommerce presence.


A European language is useful but not essential and the ideal candidate should have a background in International eCommerce and experience working with cross functional teams.


Responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of EMEA eCommerce business.

This will include project management of the rollout across EMEA markets, developing the Company's online eCommerce presence, front end website development, content strategy, value add promotions, logistics, customer service, CRM and analytics, integrating within global sales and marketing teams based in Japan, Europe and the USA.

IDEALLY WITH



  • Significant and proven digital marketing and eCommerce experience within a similar position/ fast paced commercial environment managing cross functional teams and external agencies to achieve key goals.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (in a marketing discipline or other business related subjects) is preferred.

  • Knowledge of online premium retail strategies and trends.

  • Expertise in eCommerce processes; SEO, PPC and web analytics.

  • Ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and tactical execution.

  • Excellent business communication skills (both written and verbal) establishing excellent working relationships with the ability and patience to communicate effectively with other cultures

  • Must be numerate / commercially astute with the ability to understand the financial implications of eCommerce business.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Packages particularly MS Excel and Power Point with the ability to present clearly and with confidence to an audience.

  • Writing accurate and concise reports within a monthly reporting routine.

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills.

  • Interest or some understanding of Music

  • European language is useful.
