Clinical Care Specialist - Albuquerque

Job Description

Responsible for providing thorough product in-services and recommending UHS solutions while improving patient outcomes and achieving strategic and financial goals


  • Conduct patient rounds to support desired patient outcomes, education and overall customer satisfaction

  • Complete and provide rounding report internally and externally

  • Meet or exceed all sales revenue goals and enhance total customer value

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts

  • Manage/maintain/grow current business, prospect new opportunities within existing accounts

  • Partner with Division Sales and account team to prepare territory plan and to execute on those plans.

  • Effectively articulate, educate and train customer on the feature and benefits of UHS patient handling and negative wound pressure therapy products.

  • Support sales with clinical solutions

  • Drive generation of new product demand

  • Conduct follow-up with new customers and new patient placements to ensure satisfaction

  • Assist in projecting inventory needs to assure availability of products

  • Keep current on product knowledge and sales tools

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in Business/BSN, PT, RT or related field

  • Nursing or allied health license

  • Minimum of two years successful intangible product or health services sales and account management experience with demonstrated history of customer retention and growth.

  • Experience in wound, fall and bariatric patient management

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Must successfully complete training and development objectives within assigned timeframe

  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite and CRM tool

  • Ability to communicate effectively with RN and patient regarding clinical solutions/plan of care at the bedside

  • Strong commitment to customer service.

  • Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop numerous times throughout the day

  • Willingness to be flexible in work schedule in order to meet customer needs

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to travel 40%; overnight travel will be required


  • A BS/ BA degree (or 2 year nursing degree is acceptable)

  • Two years of clinical experience as a LPN, RN, WOCN, Physical Therapy or Respiratory Therapist

  • Two years business to business selling

  • WOCN or CWS certification preferred
