Part Time Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (MRCPsych) - North Yorkshire - Permanent - Full-time - £115000 - £120000 Pro Rata

Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (MRCPsych) working for our client based in the North Yorkshire area on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be registered with the Full General Medical Council registration and have Experience working in Psychiatry with approval under section 12 of the Mental Health Act.

You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; Previous experience providing psychiatric input for the students and Young Adults with good knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and code of practice, The ability to interview, assess and treat patients and write clear comprehensive medical notes.

The ability to work within a Multi-Disciplinary Teams, The ability to manage crisis and act independently within limits of competence.

As this position is based across two separate sites a full driving licence and ability to be mobile with access to a car is essential.

We are also looking for the following desirable skills, but are not essential for the position; Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrists, Physicians, General Practitioners or equivalent, experience of working in CAMHS.

This position is based within a private specialist mixed gender school specialising in Autism and related conditions for young people aged 7 - 19 years old.

This is a Part-time Permanent position working 2.5 days per week predominantly working 9 - 5 per working in the North Yorkshire area.

The salary for this position is £115000 - £120000 Pro Rata and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position.
