Hospital Manager (RMN/RNLD/RGN) - Lancashire - 12 Month Maternity Cover - Full-time - £50000 - £55000

Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Hospital Manager (RMN/RNLD/RGN) working for our client based in Lancashire on a 12 Month Maternity Cover basis.

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and have Extensive Experience as a Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD or RGN).
You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; Previous management experience within a Mental Health Setting, A proven Track Record of successfully managing well-established teams ensuring a positive skill mix is available, ensuring supervision and development plans are in place and actioned, Liaising with external funders, families and regulatory bodies, managing budgets, reviewing the service of care provided ensuring good practice is undertaken at all levels teams, a motivational Leader with a passion to succeed.

We are also looking for the following desirable skills, but are not essential for the position; a good understanding of the Mental Health Act and Previous experience with service users with a history of offending and/or criminal conviction and /challenging complex needs..

The position is based within a 32 bedded male mental health rehabilitation hospital in the Lancashire area that has been carefully designed to provide an environment which promotes recovery for men for whose life has been a challenge in the past.

The typical patient profile will be a Primary diagnosis of mental illness with Complex mental health needs, Challenging behaviours, Forensic history, Substance, drug and alcohol misuse and typical diagnoses would include: schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorder, bipolar affective disorder, personality disorder or depression.

This is a Full-time position covering Maternity Leave for 12 months working in Lancashire.

The salary for this position is between £50000 and £55000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position.
