Our client is a long established very successful Charity in the Stockton-On-Tees area.

Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer.

An opportunity has arisen for an Project Coordinator to join their team on a Permanent basis.

This is the ideal role for an Project Coordinator looking to develop their career with an award-winning company.

As an Project Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager and Senior Leadership Team.

Coordinate the work, contracts and activities within the operations department.

Your Duties will include:

- To monitor all of our facilities, contracts and work with the Operations Manager to get a best value for these.

-Manage all the admin tasks within the department and make sure they are complete to a high level of accuracy.

-Develop and manage filing and IT systems for the department.

-Work with the Operations Manager to co-ordinate all of Daisy Chain departments and make sure we support each other when required.

-Answer all department calls and deal with them or pass onto the appropriate person.

-Develop good communication links within a Project Management environment.

-Provide comprehensive reports, including financial and analyses to the Operations Manager or a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

-Take minutes at the senior leadership meetings.

Additional responsibilities

-Comply with the Charities' Health and Safety policy in all employment practices

-Maintain the integrity of the Daisy Chain brand in all internal and external communications

-Maintain a proactive approach to your role and responsibilities along with a commitment to contribute and maintain the positive working ethos within the Charity

-Maintain working knowledge of the policies and regulations governing the Charity

-Assure attendance at staff meetings.

-Undertake any training and development deemed necessary for the pursuance of the post

-Work in a way that contributes to the continuous improvement of the Charity's services and embraces the organisations quality initiatives

-Any other duties from time to time, commensurate with the level of the post

To be considered for the role of Project Coordinator you must have:

  • - Experience of supporting a senior leader.

  • Proven experience of working within a Project Management environment.

  • A high level of administration experience.

  • Experience in dealing with a wide range of people including, contractors, funders, supporters, volunteers, staff and trustees.

  • Good general education.

  • Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships with everyone involved with Daisy Chain.

  • Highly organised with a can do attitude.

  • Ability to work on your own initiative or part of a team.

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and listening skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.

  • Excellent understanding and application of IT to support a wide range of office based tasks, including word processing, spread sheets, database, presentations, e-mails and internet.

  • Willingness to be flexible about the work undertaken.

  • Ability to travel to projects, events and meetings.

  • Understanding of and committed to the aims, ethos and philosophy of Daisy Chain.

  • Sympathetic to the requirements of employees, volunteers and service users with special needs.

  • Be willing, able and capable of learning and growing in advance of business needs.
