Accounts Payable

A fantastic opportunity to work with a growing organisation based near Sevenoaks.

My client is looking for an Accounts Payable professional to come on board and take responsibility for the sales and purchase ledger.

Sales ledger responsibilities will include:
- Invoice generation (factored and non-factored)
- Sales receipt administration (factored and direct)
- Sales credits and ledger adjustments
- Factor administration
- Credit control
- Customer queries/payments
- Ledger administration
- Month end procedures

Purchase ledger responsibilities will include:
- Invoice/credit reconciliation and entry
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Payment entry
- Cash flow liaison
- Month end
- Credit card analysis

You will be an up and coming professional who has chose to make finance their career, you will be keen to take on a variety of challenges, be commercially astute and good humoured!

The ideal candidate will be part qualified AAT or a stage 1 Accountant and have skills in:
Sage 50 - Transaction management; AP and AR management, Cash Book, Nominal ledger
Sage 50 - Reporting; Use of Sage for management reporting
Excel - ability to analyse financial data with Excel functions and pivot tables

In return my client is offering a competitive salary of £22-23,000 and 25 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays.

The successful candidate will be expected to study for a recognised Accounting qualification and my client will contribute up to £1,200 a year in relation to gaining the necessary training.
