Support Team Leader

Our client are exclusively recruiting for a Support Team Lead on behalf of their prestigious client.

Ideally you will have a track record of maintaining and developing software packages working as a part of a team in an agile environment.

Your time will be split between analysing and developing the system and managing the performance of the team.

The position requires teamwork with colleagues and clients directly.

Job Purpose:

* Guide the team to design and develop new and existing software releases, maintain and enhance the current live platforms the company supports.

* Provide technical leadership and coaching for the development support team.

* Analysing, developing, improving and updating software platforms and releases as part of the product life-cycle.

* Maintaining high standards of software quality within the team, developing and establishing best practices and habits.

* Work with other key internal and external stakeholders and team members to develop roadmaps, goals and milestones and ensure that projects to develop and deploy software are delivered on time, estimate timings and resources, suggest solutions and identify possible risks.

* With the team, review and take responsibility for clear, concise and comprehensive technical documentation

* Resolve and analyse technical and application problems and create plans to address and fix these.

Position Requirements Ideally You Should Have:

* A solid background in software development, leading and managing people and teams in a technical support software development and support function, ideally with blue-chip finance sector experience.

* Working knowledge and experience of the development, analysis, design and improvement of software, deploying complex systems and web services in an agile environment.

* Be a graduate with a degree in computer science or other similar level technical qualification.

* Excellent software programming knowledge of C# (4.0 or above) ASP.Net, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (or above) T-SQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JS Frameworks, XML TFS

* Advanced skills in Microsoft, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and English, with ability and track record of working to agreed deadlines under time pressure.
