eCRM Marketing Manager - email marketing

Working for this high growth, consumer facing IoT brand in the heart of London's West End, you will be joining a rapidly evolving marketing team as part of their core CRM function.

This team is introducing a much more sophisticated segmented approach to their CRM programme with the installation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.



This will also lead to the design and build of complete personalisation and dynamic content to help drive cross, up-sell as well as in-life tailored communications to suit the target audience.



It's currently a lean team which operates much like a start-up, yet the business enjoys a high consumer profile thanks to massive ATL/BTL campaigns which are also on-going.



Currently this will be just a team of 2 of you, this role and the department head.

But the business has forecast lots of growth into 2017, since their product isn't just a shooting star, but the industry as a whole is forecast as one of the biggest growth areas for the UK for the next few years.

So this is also a great opportunity to get involved at a relatively early stage with one of the key players in this market and become a part of the success story to come.



In this role, and because of the company's relative start-up nature, you will be in control of the entire process - which will include:



  • Information gathering, and working with various business stakeholders which include marketing and social media teams, product teams who are launching new products, their features and benefits, looking at how to translate these into impactful campaign messages

  • The design and build of the campaign including copy creation and creative oversight - ensuring what the agency produces meets the brief

  • The physical build of the campaigns themselves, working on the segmentations and targeting strategies as well as all testing, working with the ESP

  • The send of campaigns

  • Tracking and all results of campaigns too



Role: eCRM Marketing Manager
Location: London
Salary: £38,000 to £45,000
Benefits: 10% bonus, pension and blue-chip benefits package

Experience Required:



  • Sound eCRM marketing campaign experience within a data driven CRM environment

  • Preference to someone with experience within eCRM, personalisation and dynamic content delivery

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) or Adobe Campaign (Neolane) would be a distinct advantage

  • A good understanding of lifecycle marketing - from prospect to new customer, in-life and end of life/re-engagement marketing programmes

  • HTML knowledge would be beneficial but not essential

  • Industry experience is agnostic - strong preference to mass consumer marketing background

  • Sound understanding of test and learn principals and A/B testing

  • Data savvy and able to leverage this in CRM campaigns

  • Solid project management skills and ability to pull stakeholders together

  • Experience owning the end-to-end of an eCRM marketing programme

  • Must have the necessary visas to live and work in the UK - sponsorship cannot be provided.
