The company is looking for a Web Analyst/Senior Web Analyst to manage the Web Analytics for a growing e-commerce business.

They role will be the key point of contact for multiple stake holders in an increasing data hungry business.

The role will be responsible for reporting, dashboarding and insight generation for the businesses

Working closely with the Head of Digital Acquisition and the Digital Optimisation Manager, you will work with internal stakeholders to drive adoption of insight across the business, create a range of dashboards that enable insight self-service and provide analytical expertise to stakeholders to enable better decision making.

They are expanding the team by a head over of 3 over the next month and are looking for entrepreneurial, hands on individuals, who are passionate about data and want to grow and develop in a Web Analytics role.

Role Responsibilities

  • Analysis of website journeys to understand visitor behaviour.

  • Analysis of conversion/funnel metrics and develop strategies to improve conversion.

  • Provision of reporting and insight to explain online channel performance across sales and service.

  • Discovering insight to underpin decision making to the website/ app development roadmap.

  • The mining of web data to build predictive models that could lead to better targeting or improvement of online processes.

  • Helping to drive the understanding, adoption and utilisation of digital data across the company and join up multi channel customer journeys.

  • Driving innovation and exploitation of the tools and data available.

  • Assisting in the management, implementation and testing of all web analytics software and services.

The individual will have extensive experience in Web Analytics style role preferably using Google Analytics or Omniture and has experience creating Web Analytics reports & Dashboards.

Line management experience is optional.

The Web Analyst requires the following experience:

  • A graduate with a relevant degree or equivalent
    Advanced user of Adobe analytics premium (including Workspace and Ad-hoc).

  • Experience of implementing and testing web analytics tools.

  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insight.

  • Experience in data mining and building predictive models.

  • Proficiency in working with relational databases and business intelligence software.

  • Experience of contributing to an optimisation programme.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to thrive in a fast moving environment.

  • Advanced MS Excel.

  • Day-to-day experience of reporting

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Experience of creating automated reports and dashboards

  • Experience of contributing to CRO initiatives

  • Demonstrable data analysis capabilities

  • Experience of tag management systems, would also be an advantage.
