With our clients new exciting scheme in Stratford, London due to go live, are you keen to help them to achieve the accolade of design excellence for this innovative project?

The astonishing £100 million plus development will be a thirty-three storey tower formed from precast concrete, with a four storey podium and up to 9 storey residential block and significant landscaped elements.

The new scheme will be a mixed use development scheme involving not only Student Accommodation, but residential apartments, education and community space, with usual additional amenities such as car parking and roof parking.

Your duties will be varied, and no day will ever be the same, but they will include the following:

  • Measuring quantities from drawings.

  • Issuing detailed tender enquiries.

  • Analysing and negotiate most competitive tenders based on cost, programme, performance and quality.

  • Submitting detailed analysis to Procurement Department Manager for approval

  • Monitoring and review procurement - including placing subcontract orders and ensure they arrive on time and within budget

  • Attending sub-contract and design team meetings

  • Working to deadlines set by the Procurement Department Manager and others within the team

  • Ensuring continuous communication with other team members to review contract progress and address immediately associated issues

  • Attending site weekly (or as required) to review issues including providing solutions and advice to ensure successful project completion.

  • Identifying and review key performance indicators with Procurement Department Manager

  • Ensuring filing of site project correspondence is maintained

  • For you to be successful in this diverse role, you will need to possess the following;

    • Education/ qualifications to a level of NVQ 4, Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent experience

    • Able to read and interpret building drawings

    • Strong negotiation, communication and time management skills

    • Good knowledge of Building Regulations
