ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER - DERBY, DERBYSHIRE

£42K-£45K (PRO-RATED) + BENEFITS

DAYS / SHIFTS: Full time and part time available.

Combination of early/late/weekend days however days are flexible.
HOURS: 40

Our client is a nationally recognised and award winning innovative healthcare solutions provider to the NHS.

THE ROLE:
You would contribute to the provision of a comprehensive healthcare service that is sensitive to the needs of the practice population, including assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, and referral where appropriate; to enable patient choice in the provision of care, complement the roles of the GPs and multidisciplinary team and to promote the development of advanced nursing practice.
16 contracted hours each week, worked on a rota system.

Additional hours may also be needed to cover holidays, sickness and busy periods

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE):
RGN / NMC Registered (With No Undertakings).
Independent/Supplementary Nurse Prescribing qualification.
MSc/Post Graduate Diploma: Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care or equivalent.
Assessment skills incorporating covering history taking, clinical examination and diagnosis and initiating programmes of care.
Minimum of 3 years in primary care or experience in the treatment of minor illness, unwell children and symptoms typical of those presented in unscheduled care.


Ideally, with the experience of triaging and performing home visits
Eligible to work in UK without requiring employer sponsorship.
