Desk Based Support Engineer - Telecoms
We are looking for an experienced Desk Based Support Engineer to work with our client based in Stockport.
The company is a large organisation with a small team based in the North West.
The office has a vibrant, entrepreneurial feel so we are looking for someone who works well in this environment.
Experience of working with Avaya is essential, with additional experience of working with Samsung highly desirable.
The role is very varied so ideally, we are also looking for experience of provisioning and working with Horizon, although not essential.
This role would suit someone who is a great problem solver and practical thinker.

Main duties to include:
· Offering support to customers with Avaya telephone systems
· Proactively solve issues within company SLA’s
· Build relationships with customers and ensure they have a professional image of the company
· Deal with network providers and solve issues with lines
· Liaise with internal departments to inform of updates with support tickets
· Make recommendations based on customer’s requirements
We are looking for:
· 2 years experience of supporting Avaya telephone systems
· Experience or knowledge of provisioning or network support
· Experience of working as a desk based support engineer
· Someone who is proactive and professional
· A great relationship builder
· Someone who is hardworking and ambitious
