Payroll Officer

This global business solutions organisation is seeking an astute, passionate and self-driven Payroll Officer to join their growing team to deliver high-quality services on a 1-year contract.

You will be responsible for:

, Assisting in the fortnightly payroll process for approximately 220 employees
, Processing Payroll reconciliations and calculations
, Updating and maintaining payroll system with accuracy
, Liaising with the Payroll Outsourcing provider
, Assisting with termination process of employees
, Performing general administrative tasks
, Providing regular and ad-hoc payroll reports to management

The ideal candidate will need to have the following attributes:

, Experience in payroll processing; within retail industry is highly preferred
, Previous retail experience in processing payroll in accordance with the General Industry Retail Award
, Demonstrated experience in using a payroll system
, Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word Skills
, Highly organised and possess the ability to balance conflicting priorities

The successful candidate will be regarded with comprehensive remuneration and receive quality training and development.

You will have ownership of this position and work in a stand-alone capacity.
